Some benefits to drawing and designing in CAD are:

* easily show Multiple views from one drawing ( you don't need to draw each and every side, elevation, or view).
* you can download different objects into a drawing quickly and easily such as ( Furniture, Plumbing Fixtures, appliances, You Name it it's probably available for free)
* The list goes on, The better you get the better your drawings will look.
MY OBJECTIVES FOR THE STUDENT ARE:
· To introduce the student to the concepts of 3D modeling.
· To familiarize the student with the drawing work space and how to navigate around in that space.
· To learn the different tools that are available to create and manipulate shapes
· To help the student understand how to make and use components and groups, and the differences between the two.
· To get the student to a point were they feel they can work through a simple drawing on their own.
· To spark enough of an interest that the student is willing to make the commitment to keep practicing so they can produce complex drawings on their own.
· All this and to try to keep it fun, it’s pretty cool when you can show a customer a professional looking set of drawings.
